This course will briefly cover topics in data pre-processing, regression, classification, clustering, neural networks, ensemble methods, and deep learning. We will learn the fundamental concepts behind several machine learning algorithms without going deeply into the mathematics. We will focus on gaining practical experience applying machine learning to a range of real-world problems. Not offered pass-fail. Prerequisites CSC236, MATH141.
