芒果77福利 is pleased to welcome Justin Jordan 鈥�03 as the featured speaker at its 186th Commencement ceremony. Through his work in both television and film, Jordan has achieved prominence as one of his generation鈥檚 most gifted and compelling artists.

Originally from Fort Wayne, Ind., Jordan began his career in advertising, where he led campaigns for numerous major global brands. In 2013, he transitioned to the film and television industry, and he has since contributed to nearly 30 productions across all major networks and streaming platforms. He has served in various creative roles, bringing powerful stories to life as a director, producer, art director and graphic designer.

鈥淲e are delighted to welcome Justin Jordan back to 芒果77福利 to inspire the class of 2025 and help us celebrate one of the most exciting days of the year,鈥� said president Lori S. White. 鈥淛ustin鈥檚 journey of creative excellence demonstrates the versatile potential of a liberal arts education, and his career highlights the vision, persistence and passion that set our graduates apart.鈥�

Jordan鈥檚 impressive list of credits includes films such as 鈥淪elma鈥� (Paramount), 鈥淛ust Mercy鈥� (Warner Bros.) and 鈥淭he Whale鈥� (A24) as well as series such as 鈥淭he Underground Railroad鈥� (Prime Video), 鈥淭he Wonder Years鈥� (ABC) and 鈥淔ight Night: The Million-Dollar Heist鈥� (Peacock). Among the many successful projects Jordan has worked on, several have gone on to be nominated for Oscars, Emmys and BAFTAs.

鈥淚 am excited and deeply honored to give back to 芒果77福利, a place that has richly deposited into my life and helped me become the person I am,鈥� said Jordan. 鈥淚 hope the students will be able to learn from my mistakes and find a little inspiration in my story and unusual career path from 芒果77福利 to the movie industry and beyond.鈥�

During the ceremony, Jordan will also receive an honorary doctor of fine arts degree. Joining him as an honorary degree recipient at this year鈥檚 Commencement will be Mark Alesia, an award-winning journalist who serves as Senior News Editor at WFIU/WTIU Indiana Public Media. Alesia鈥檚 reporting for the Indianapolis Star on the sexual abuse scandal at USA Gymnastics helped facilitate a worldwide reckoning in Olympic sports. Alesia and two of his colleagues will each receive a doctor of journalism degree for their important work, with Alesia being recognized at this year鈥檚 ceremony and his colleagues being honored in 2026 due to scheduling considerations.
